The Celandine often blooms between April and August and is always a deep shade of yellow. Their flower seems delicate among the large leafy base of the flower. These plants usually grow in cluster form. They often survive in moist ground, wood edges, and weedy places. The Celandine is a part of the Poppy family. If you gaze around along the trail you will see a decent amount of these pretty little flowers brightening up the trail!
